Optical data

The optical data consist from 4 parts. The first part is the parameters of cluster: coordinates (Right ascention, Declination (J2000.0) and redshift z (or an estimation z with letter 'e' after value, if here is no measured z), richness Na - Abell counts, structure (RS - Rood-Sastry and BM - Bautz-Morgan types).

The next part COM may contains some comment on essential properties of cluster, on some unclear moments and present status of cluster.

In part REF brief designations of some main optical data references are given.

The part NOT contains essential notes on cluster properties from papers, another important parameters.

You can request
Cluster image with APM-galaxies, NVSS radio sources and FIRST radio sources
or
APM cluster data from AAO or Cambridge .

The example:

Abell 0014

Optical data       [radio data]       [radio spectra (1.0 or 1.1)]

 RA = 00h12m42s  DEC = -24d10' (B1950)

z = 0.0640
Na = 35 BM = 5: RS = C8:[CD]
Cluster image with NVSS radio sources (TCL-applet 21 Kb).

You can request APM cluster data from AAO or Cambridge .

COM: Need more evidencies for cD classification (z and structure of D-galaxy).
REF: D80 SRS82 OWG93
NOT:
D80: BCG 0h12m38.4s,-24d09'35" classified as D  here.
SR87: Four possible foreground spiral galaxies are located in the field
       of A  14 defined as the circle of radius R_c centered on the cluster;
       if these galaxies are non-members, then the RS type of the cluster is cD.
ACO: F472 3rd HAS CORONA. NEAR W PLATE EDGE, COUNT LOW. MORPHOLOGICALLY DIVERSE.
      F473  1st and 3rd are spirals.

The present status of optical data is as subsidiary to the radio data.
